"There was a quarter per pound drop at the crawfish docks this week, and retai lers responded with an exact $.25 cents per pound drop at the consumer level," Laney King, co-founder of The Crawfish App, said. How much you could pay this weekend: $3.64 per pound for live crawfish $6.08 per pound for boiled crawfish "The start of April marks the historical true start of the heart of crawfish season -- weather is mild, crawfish are plentiful and a good size, and prices typically continue to come down, at least until Easter weekend!"
