Two legendary San Antonio Spurs, George Gervin and Sean Elliott, join NBA legend Grant Hill and ESPN’s Jay Bilas on the judging panel for the 2025 King’s Hawaiian Slam Dunk
Championship, set to take place April 3 as part of the State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships at Frost Bank Center.
Both Gervin and Elliott spent all but one year of their NBA careers with the San Antonio Spurs, and both have been acknowledged for their accomplishments by having their jerseys retired by the organization.
Gervin was with the Spurs when they transitioned from the ABA to the NBA. He was a seven-time All-NBA selection and four-time scoring champion. He is also a member of the NBA’s 50 Greatest Players and NBA’s 75th Anniversary team.
Elliott was a member of the Silver & Black when they nabbed their first NBA championship in 1999. He also notched two All-Star game appearances as a member of the Spurs. Ellliott has remained a visible presence as an announcer.
