SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - One man is dead following a car crash in Springfield Thursday evening. According to Springfield police, a man riding a bike was hit on Parker and Verge Streets just after 5 p.m. The driver got out of his car and took off on foot. A search is underway for the person driving that car. The cause of the crash is also under investigation, we will provide updates as soon as new information is available.
