Two Charlotte-area students were among 100 Disney Dreamers to be a part of a magical parade at Walt Disney World in Florida. The 100 students, including Sonia G. from Charlotte and Mason B. from Fort Mill, were joined by “Abbott Elementary” star Tyler James Williams. They were the honorary gra nd marshals in the Magic Kingdom parade that included popular Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Princess Tiana. The parade kicks off a five-day event, a once-in-a-lifetime mentoring program at Disney World, designed to inspire high school students to pursue their goals.
