Local Living on ABC Columbia brought to you by MUSC Health     COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, you can attend South Carolina’s first Pimento Cheese Festival this weekend. The event will have live music, outdoor games and pimento cheese from across the state. It cos ts $5 for a tasting ticket and $5 for parking. The festival is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m on Saturday, March 29, at Saluda Shoals Park.   The Richland Library is hosting a free book festival this weekend. “Read Freely Fest” will feature best-selling authors, performances and interactive activities. There will also be an open mic and a book sale. It all takes place on Friday, March 28 through Sunday, March 30 at the library’s main location.   It’s off to the races once again for the 90th annual Carolina Cup this Saturday, March 29. Thousands are expected to hit the Springdale Race Course in Camden for the steeple chase. Gates open at 9 a.m. and the first race starts at 1:30 p.m. For tickets click here.
