PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — Police are investigating after a man was shot in Pawtucket Wednesday evening. Officers were called to the Walgreens parking lot off Broad Street for reports of a man suffering from gunshot wounds. Police said the 27-year-old victim, who had been shot twice, was broug ht to the hospital for treatment. His injuries do not appear to be life-threatening at this time. Detectives are still trying to figure out what led up to the shooting and where it happened. It's unclear whether anyone is in custody at this time.
