Mar 26, 2025

Before his current role, Mr. Anderson was
chair of the board of Mosaic Miami. He has served on the boards of United Way, the Ayiti Community Trust, Seraphic Fire, the Foundation for New Education Initiatives, and the Miami Jewish Health Foundation.
A graduate of Leadership Florida’s Connect Florida Class VII, he has received Florida International University’s Center for Leadership’s 2017 Emerging Leader Award, The Education Fund Public School Achievement Award, the Haitian Chamber of Commerce Top 20 Under 40, Miami Today’s Unsung Hero, and the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce Rising Star.
He has helped lead community efforts, including as co-chair of United Way Young Leaders, Barton G. Kids Hear Now Foundation’s Run Over Hear 5K, founder and past co-chair of the Beacon Council’s New Leader’s Taskforce. He has been a member of the Posse Foundation’s Leadership Circle, the Florida International University President’s Council, the Lowe Art Museum Public Outreach Committee, and the Wolfsonian-FIU’s Director’s Circle.
“I think that polarization and divisiveness can be fought off once Americans can trust Americans again, he said. “The more people that can hone their skills in facilitating these tough conversations, and the more people who open their hearts to having these conversations, I think that’s the only way to do it because we’re at a point in time where we’ve gone too far to extremes, and now it’s time to go back to the basics. I think that the solutions are human-to-human solutions.”
Mr. Anderson spoke with Miami Today reporter Abraham Galvan.
This week’s profile will appear in next year’s Book of Leaders.
