MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A man in a wheelchair was killed Tuesday afternoon after being struck by a driver in Midtown, Memphis Police confirm. A t 3:38 p.m., officers responded to a crash involving a vehicle and a wheelchair-bound pedestrian who was struck at Madison Ave and Idlewild St. A man was taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition, but was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
