NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — New Orleans Police seek more information in a sex crimes investigation linked to a man who was arrested in Baton Rouge in December 2024.

Max Alexander Dobbs, 26, is wanted in New Orleans on charges of second-degree rape and secon
d-degree kidnapping. He's currently booked in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
Investigators believe Dobbs may have committed additional sex crimes against victims who have yet to report them to law enforcement.

Previous arrest in Baton Rouge
Dobbs, of New Orleans, was arrested in December 2024 in connection to a rape at a Baton Rouge hotel on Reiger Road. Deputies said the victim reported an assault that happened in August 2024 after meeting Dobbs, who called himself Jude, on a dating site in July.
He was charged with three counts of third-degree rape, 31 counts of simple battery and one count of video voyeurism. Jail records show that Dobbs remains booked in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
