Chilton Area Catholic School unveils 15,530 sq. ft. expansion

Principal Samantha Meyers, who graduated from the school in 1999, says the expansion reflects the strong support from both the parish and the broader Chilton community.
“We’re doing a lot of really great things here to keep people coming back. And I think this shows the support we have in our parish and community that maybe some of the schools around us haven’t been able to get,” Meyers said.

The project was years in the making, involving close collaboration between school leaders, parish members, and Bayland Buildings, the company responsible for construction.
Project Executive, Jeff Sabel says the new facilities will provide valuable space for students to learn and grow.
“It was much needed just from a space perspective, and it gives them an opportunity to grow and serve more members of the community and the students,” Sabel said. “The most exciting part for me is seeing the children in the building with bright eyes, taking advantage of the gymnasium and the media center.”
Students had their first look at the new addition last week, and according to Meyers, their excitement was overwhelming.

“I got to take them all through on Monday this last week and show them the space for the first time, and it was the best day ever,” she said. “They loved every bit of it and can’t wait to start using it on Monday.”
The expansion officially opens to students on Monday, ushering in a new era for Chilton Area Catholic School, which hopes to continue growing and serving families in the area for years to come. ...read more read less
