MANITOWOC, Wis. (WFRV) - A 55-year-old Manitowoc man is now in custody following a standoff with police and SWAT early Monday morning. According to a release from the Manitowoc Police Department, officers called in the Manitowoc SWAT and CNT (Crisis Negotiators Team) teams to help assist with arr esting a man who barricaded himself inside a home. Officials say a perimeter was set up around the 1300 block of 9th Street with the SWAT team exhausting every effort to end the incident peacefully. Green Bay driver with child passenger arrested for OWI, drug activity The 55-year-old man barricaded inside of the home failed to come out on his own and SWAT eventually forced entry into the home and arrested the man without any further incident.
