Mar 24, 2025
Bucks County-based male (mostly) a cappella group Cordus Mundi brings a musical mixed menu to Trinity Episcopal Church in Solebury on Saturday evening, April 5 at 7:00 p.m., when the group presents “Cordus a la Carte”.
Cordus Mundi’s program is a mixture of new pieces and repertoire favorites,
with music from Haydn, Puccini, Bizet, Jackson, Schönberg, Stills, Arlen, Parris, and more. New compositions from Cordus tenor Zack Devine will be introduced in their world premieres, and individual Cordians, as well as celebrated accompanist Roburt Gajdos are featured.
“The group continues to solidify, and the sound and feel of this new version of Cordus is developing into something quite wonderful,” says artistic director/founder Rick Rosen. “The established Cordus repertoire sounds great, and we’ve been adding interesting new facets to the music we make. We’re looking forward to presenting a wide and varied menu of selections, and yes, dessert will be served.”
The “Cordus a la Carte ”concert will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, 6587 Upper York Rd. in Solebury. Tickets are $20, and can be purchased from Cordus Mundi members, online at the website (www.cordusmundi.com) and at the door. Children under twelve are admitted at no charge. For those unable to attend the live performance on April 5, a video of the performance will be made available for online viewing beginning one week later. Tickets for the online video option are available at the group’s website (www.cordusmundi.com).
