(COLORADO SPRINGS) — One person was taken to the hospital after a stabbing in which the suspect was later identified and arrested, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD). CSPD reported that on Friday, March 21, around 6:30 p.m., officers responded to the 1600 block of Jet Wi ng Drive, near East Fountain Boulevard, on reports of a stabbing. When they arrived, they found a victim who was taken to the hospital. Officers checked the surrounding area and couldn't find the suspect, but found a witness who said that the suspect may have also received injuries during the attack. During a safety sweep of a nearby home, officers found evidence of an injury, but the suspect was already gone, according to CSPD. Around 10 p.m. that same night, officers received information that a man matching the description of the suspect was seen near Interquest Parkway.
