Lane Thomas hit a two-run home run as part of a four-RBI afternoon, and the Guardians inched closer to the end of spring training with a 12-4 win over the Padres. Thomas was 2-for-3 and scored two runs. He has four home runs and 15 RBI this spring. Carlos Santana, Brayan Rocchio and Jhonkensy Noel a lso hit home runs for Clevland. Noel’s homer traveled 450 feet. He also doubled. On the day his $48 million contract extension was announced, Tanner Bibee made his final tuneup before opening day.
