Euclid to host Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt for kids
Mar 22, 2025
Euclid has announced that it will be hosting a Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt on April 11 so those participating can get a chance to find Easter treats under the stars.
This year Easter eggs will be hidden around the outside of Euclid’s Municipal Center starting at 7 p.m., giving egg “hunters” —
who are limited to being between 3-8 years old — an excuse to break out their old flashlight in search of candy.
Refreshments, music and pictures with the Easter Bunny will also be provided for free.
Recreation Director Mac Stephens said he likes putting on different events each year and that he enjoys having the community come together.
“This year we are going to have the Easter hunt out in the courtyard, here, outside of City Hall,” Stephens said. “We are going to do it in the evening, with some glow-in-the-dark eggs and a lot more prizes this year.”
He added that part of why they were changing things around was to get an idea of what the public wants and how programming would fit into the community.
“Just to kind of make it a fun experience for the kids and try and change it up a little bit… The idea throughout the rest of the year is to just try and introduce some new programming that we typically haven’t done before. In terms of special events and actual recreation programming, once we get into 2026 and the Rec and Wellness Center is in place we can have an idea of what to add to that.
