FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- A woman accused of stabbing her daughter multiple times during a domestic dispute has pled guilty to domestic battery, Friday. According to court documents filed to the Allen Cou nty Circuit Court, now 34-year-old India Gray, entered a guilty plea for one count of domestic battery, a Level 5 Felony. According to court documents, Gray is accused of stabbing her daughter above her left elbow, below her left breast, on the upper back portion of her left tri-cep and below her left shoulder as well as her armpit following a fight. When interviewing the victim in the hospital, she initially tried to say her boyfriend caused the injuries and that she was India Gray. This was after police already talked to the actual India Gray, according to court documents. As a part of the plea deal, Gray will only serve 183 days and the four years will be suspended, with those 4 years served on probation. If a judge accepts the plea, charges of Aggravated Battery, a Level 3 felony, and Neglect of a Dependent, a Level 3 Felony, will be dropped at sentencing.
