Man fatally shot in Riverside after possible argument

Police believe an argument may have escalated into a fatal shooting after a man was killed in Riverside on Saturday, March 22.
The shooting occurred around 10:10 p.m. near the intersection of Mitchell Avenue and Hole Avenue. Officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area and found the man
unresponsive on the street. He was hospitalized and died shortly after, Riverside Police Officer Ryan Railsback said.
Detectives detained a person believed to have been involved though no arrests have been made as of Sunday morning.
Additional information on the victim or their relationship to the person of interest was not released.
