CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - A soft serve ice cream shop in West Springfield is in the process of opening at a second location in Chicopee. West Side Creamy Cones owner Mehmet Sarikcioglu started off operating a soft serve ice cream truck in western Massachusetts doing private parties. Due to many re quests, he decided to expand the business by opening its first brick-and-mortar location on 751b Union Street in West Springfield last April. “It’s great to see the smiles on people’s faces after handing them their ice creams! We have had a lot of customers returning and thanking us for opening a spot where we did,” Sarikcioglu told 22News back in April. “All the customers from surrounding streets love the location as they can just walk over to us for an ice cream!" PrimoHoagies opens its first Massachusetts location On Thursday, the company announced that they are opening a second location called Creamy Cones in Chicopee. They will be located at 1410 Memorial Drive however, the opening date has not yet been made public. Their soft serve ice cream is made from mostly top-of-the-line locally sourced ingredients. There are many soft-serve flavors made from real fruit purees, including vanilla and chocolate at all times and alternating weekly flavors.
