HOPKINTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Police have issued a Silver Alert for a man reported missing out of Hopkinton Thursday morning. Joseph Bolek, 71, was last seen leaving a home in Hope Valley around 8 a.m. Police said Bolek may be in the company of his pet brindle boxer named Buddy. He's known to fre quent popular fishing spots in Charlestown, Scarborough State Beach, Point Judith and the Groton Submarine Base. Bolek drives a silver 2018 Chevrolet Suburban bearing Rhode Island veteran license plate 2G533. Anyone with information regarding Bolek's whereabouts is urged to contact the Hopkinton Police Department by calling (401) 377-7750.
