NARRAGANSETT, R.I. (WLNE) — Special Olympics Rhode Island hosted the first of two ocean plunge events at Salty Brine State Beach in Narragansett. The 24-hour Super Plunge began at 1 p.m., and involved 17 participants with the Law Enforcement Torch Run taking a dive into the water every hour unti l the afternoon on March 23, and will be immediately followed by the Torch Run Plunge.
