WATCH: Several puppies rescued in Northwest DC house fire

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- Several puppies were rescued in a house fire in Northwest D.C. Thursday, according to the DC Fire and EMS Department.
According to firefighters, crews responded to reports of a two-story house fire in the 600 block of Tewkesbury Place NW.
As of noon, the fire has b
een marked as under control.

One dog and several puppies were rescued. However, DCFD said three puppies did not survive.
No people were injured, according to firefighters.
