SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Residents and State Route 79 motorists in the Descanso area may see and smell smoke Wednesday, according to officials with the Cleveland National Forest. Fire crews will be conducti ng a two-acre prescribed burn at the Descanso Fire Station, which is located off Viejas Grade Road. This means smoke may be visible in the surrounding area throughout the day. A map of the burn area can be seen below.
