DEDHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — The motions to dismiss two charges in the Karen Read case have been denied and prosecutors will move forward and re-try Read in her murder case. Jury selection is scheduled to begin in two and a half weeks and Read’s retrial is scheduled to begin April 1. Read is accuse d of hitting and killing her boyfriend and Boston police officer, John O’Keefe with her car. Read’s defense team can appeal the court’s decision.
