A pedestrian who was struck and killed by a car in Fallbrook on Jan. 17 has been identified. According to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office, Cipriano Pedro Gonzalez, 24, was walking across South Mission Road near East Clemmens Lane when he was struck by a northbound Ford sedan at about 7 p.m. Paramedics responded and transported him to the Palomar Medical Center emergency department, where he was treated for multiple injuries. He was pronounced dead Monday, officials said.
