Scottie Barnes scored 24 points and pulled down 11 rebounds as his Toronto Raptors beat the Atlanta Hawks 117-94 at State Farm Arena Saturday night. The Hawks are currently on a four-game losing streak. Quin Snyder attributed tonight’s loss to turnovers caused by handling the ball poorly. The Hawks’ defense, which was a known factor from their previous matchup, also impacted the game. “Some guys are in unfamiliar situations, having some guys out,” Snyder said.Atlanta was without three key pieces. De’Andre Hunter was held out due to illness, Zaccharie Risacher missed the game due to a strained left adductor and Jalen Johnson missed out due to an injured left shoulder. The Hawks only shot 32%. Meanwhile, Toronto outscored the Hawks 33-21 on 54% shooting during the second stanza.Trae Young scored 16 points and had 11 turnovers Saturday night. Notably, he played the entire fourth quarter because the Hawks did have many ball-handlers outside of Dyson Daniels.
