UPDATE: SCSO has announced that the barricade was resolved peacefully. The male suspect surrendered to SWAT deputies and was taken into custody at 4 p.m. Both family members inside the home were found unharmed. The investigation is still ongoing by SCSO detectives. ************************* MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Shelby County Sheriff's Office deputies are dealing with a shooting and barricade situation in Southeast Shelby County. SCSO deputies responded to a domestic disturbance involving a shooting with injuries shortly before 12 p.m. in the 6600 block of Silver Oak Cove. One adult male victim was shot and was transported to Regional One in non-critical condition. An adult male, armed with a handgun, has barricaded himself inside a residence with two additional family members. SCSO SWAT and negotiators are on the scene. Several nearby homes have been evacuated for safety. Deputies ask that residents avoid this area.
