SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - One person has been hurt after a driver struck a health center building with their car. Springfield Fire Captain Drew Piemonte told 22News that the crash at the Caring Health Center on Sumner Avenue was reported struck shortly before noon time. One person who was inside the building at the time was injured but Piemonte said that person is expected to survive. Springfield police cruiser hit by gunfire, suspects arrested following chase The health center had to be evacuated. Piemonte said they are waiting for the building department to inspect the structure. 22News has contacted Springfield police for additional information.
