CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) - Temperatures are forecasted to drop below freezing Thursday night, prompting many warming centers to open their doors. People without adequate heat and those experiencing homelessness can seek shelter at the following warming centers: Mount Pleasant Hibben Hospitality Shelter (690 Coleman Blvd.) Hibben Hospitality Shelter will be open on Thursday from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Currently at maximum capacity. Contact Rev. Katie Brock, Associate Pastor, at [email protected] for questions about the shelter. Summerville Seacoast Church Summerville Warming Center (301 E. 5th N. Street) Seacoast Warming Center will be open from 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. Currently at maximum capacity. Contact 843-486-0193 and choose the Warming Center option for questions about the center. Walterboro Walterboro Warming Center (907 Wichman Street) Walterboro Warming Center will be open through Sunday morning (1/26) from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. each day Currently not accommodating pets Men, women, and families are welcome Contact Caroline Hooker at 843-893-8118 for any questions about the center. Williamsburg County Williamsburg Recovery Center (2086 Thurgood Marshall Hwy) Since January 20, the center will remain open until further notice from 7 p.m. - 8 a.m. Goose Creek Goose Creek United Methodist Church (142 Red Bank Rd) Goose Creek United Methodist will be closed on Thursday but reopen Friday and Saturday night. Guests can stay from 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.
