PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Officials arrested a woman for her involvement in a 2024 crash that killed three former Wise High School students, including Minnesota Vikings rookie Khyree Jackson.
Prince George's County State's Attorney Aisha Braveboy said in a news conference Thursday that a grand jury indicted Cori Clingman on 13 counts for "her role in this horrific, tragic collision." Her charges include driving under the influence as well as grossly negligent and criminally negligent vehicular manslaughter.
"Our community lost three amazing young men. All were scholars. All were athletes. One was headed to the NFL ... Each of their lives was special and important and a tragic loss for their families and our community," Braveboy said.

In the early hours of July 6, 2024, 23-year-old Isaiah Hazel, 24-year-old Jackson and 24-year-old Anthony Lytton, Jr. were killed in a three-car crash on Route 4.
Police said then-23-year-old Clingman was driving an Infinity when she tried changing lanes at a high rate of speed, hitting the Dodge Charger that Hazel, Jackson and Lytton were all in at the time of the crash.
Hazel - who was driving the car - and Jackson died at the scene. Lytton was taken to a hospital where he died.
"These were three young men who had gotten it right in life," Braveboy said.
Clingman was arrested without incident on Jan. 23, following the grand jury's indictment. She is being held without bond as she waits for a bond hearing, which is set for Friday.
Braveboy said Clingman and the three men all went to the same high school and had known each other for a long time prior to the crash.
She said there was no evidence Clingman had any substances other than alcohol in her system at the time.
