PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence grand jury has indicted three men in relation to the August 2024 shooting murder of Darmani Balbuena, killed on his 18th birthday. Providence police responded to the shooting on Rhodes Street back on august 25, 2024. When they arrived, they found Balbunea with gunshot wounds, and rushed him to the hospital where he died. Now, Julien Santiago, Jalen Santiago and Jose Diaz have all been charged with murder and conspiracy. Investigators have not said who they think pulled the trigger.
