Another front crosses our path today.  Winds have flipped from the northwest.  In this flow, we will have a few sprinkles, flurries and snow showers mainly across northern Kansas into the overnight. Temps tonight will drop to the teens and lower 20s.  The air behind this boundary is not bitter, more of a reinforcing shot of cooler air.   This will impact temps on Thursday.  Any stray flurry should taper with highs in the 20s and 30s. We receive a nice bounce on Friday with highs back to the 30s and 40s.  Another wind shift tracks through the area Friday night.  This will reset temps over the weekend.  We will be below average in the 30s, however, miles milder than earlier this week.   There is a slight chance for a few flurries to the northwest on Saturday.  Sunday's system looks to be pushed far enough to the south of us due to high pressure building in from the north.   Temperatures will warm the first half of next week.  We will make a run for the upper 40s and lower 50s by Tuesday.  Model guidance hints at a system the middle of next week.  We will need to monitor the track.  A more northerly path will bring a chance for rain to snow to our area.  If the system hits farther south, then we could get robbed from any beneficial moisture. Something to keep an eye on as we get closer. KSN Storm Track 3 Forecast from Chief Meteorologist Lisa Teachman:Wichita:Tonight: Mostly clear to partly cloudy.
