BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Police are asking the community to be on the look our for a teen who was reported missing near Ridgeview High School Tuesday, the Bakersfield Police Department said through a news release. BPD said Michael Hernandez, 14, was last seen around 6 p.m. near the intersection of Poso Ridge Court and Mountain Ridge Dr., just north of McKee Rd. He is considered to be at-risk due to being his first time missing. Baseball event aims to collect equipment for players affected by Eaton Fire Investigators say Michael stands five-feet four-inches tall, weighs 180 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a "Scarface" black sweatshirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
