Former “Mob Wives” star Natalie DiDonato has been found safe in Nevada, one day after being reported missing to police, her mom said Wednesday.
Denise Fuoco, Natalie’s mother, told TMZ that her daughter’s handbag and IDs were stolen, but she was otherwise physically unharmed.
Fuoco said the family is still trying piece together what happened in recent days, but was first focused on figuring out how to get DiDonato on a flight home to Florida without identification.
“My daughter’s been found,” Fuoco told NBC News on Wednesday, saying she finally spoke to the 44-year-old earlier in the day after not being able to reach her for a week. She said it’s unclear why her daughter went off the grid.
“She didn’t really want to talk about it,” Fuoco said. “I didn’t push anything, because I’m pretty sure she might hang up.”
The former reality TV star became the subject of a missing-persons report on Tuesday after she failed to board two separate flights home to Florida — one from Philadelphia and then another from Las Vegas.
Her family said DiDonato had been visiting Philly earlier this month and was supposed to fly home on Jan. 5, but missed that flight.
Fuoco said Tuesday she last spoke to DiDonato on a Jan. 14 FaceTime call, during which her daughter seemed distressed and didn’t clarify where she was. The family later learned she traveled to Las Vegas and missed another flight from there to Florida.
Her sister, Janae DiDonato, told NBC News that police found records of the reality star staying in a Vegas hotel late last week. No further details were given on her whereabouts or actions during the week she was believed to be missing.
The “Mob Wives” star appeared as a recurring cast member on season 5 of the Staten Island-based reality show in 2015. She’s a cousin of mobster Frank “Frankie Flowers” D’Alfonso, a bookmaker who was killed in 1985.
