Hoosier Lotto jackpot continues to climb and is now second largest in U.S.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WANE) The Hoosier Lotto® jackpot for Wednesday, Jan. 22, has reached $38.2 million, making it the second-largest lottery jackpot in the country, behind only Lotto Texas. Powerball® is currently the third-largest with an estimated jackpot of $31 million. Players can purchase a $2 Hoosier Lotto ticket at any participating retailer. Players also can add +PLUS for $1 for a chance to win $1 million or other prizes in a second drawing that occurs immediately after the Hoosier Lotto drawing. The largest Hoosier Lotto jackpot win occurred on Nov. 7, 2007, and was worth $54.5 million. The last Hoosier Lotto jackpot win occurred on Dec. 6, 2023, and was worth an estimated $44 million. The winner purchased the ticket at Lucky’s Mart in Speedway. Players have until 10:39 p.m., ET, Wednesday to get their tickets for the 11 p.m., ET, drawing.
