Workers in Wisconsin risk hours in below zero temps to fix water main break

WAUSAU, Wis. (WFRV) - Officials in Wausau were out late last night in the cold to fix a water main break.
According to a Facebook post from the Wausau Police Department, Water Works staff was called to the intersection of 6th Avenue and Cedar Street around 10 p.m.
The post says the staff worked outside in the 15 to 20 below zero temperatures to fix and restore water to the surrounding houses in the neighborhood.

Wausau Police stated that staff had been working on the fix for hours since the ground around the water main break was frozen.
