Boy, 16, critically wounded in North Lawndale shooting

A teenage boy was shot and wounded Tuesday in North Lawndale.The 16-year-old was standing near a sidewalk about 2 p.m. in the 4000 block of West 21st Street when someone fired shots, striking him in the groin, Chicago police said.The boy was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.No arrests were reported.
