Teen wounded in shooting on Chef Menteur Highway amid winter storm

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating a shooting that left a teenager wounded amid Tuesday's winter weather.
The NOPD reported that officers responded to the 6000 block of Chef Menteur Highway around 1:30 p.m., where they found a 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound.
Mandeville man arrested in connection with attempted murder investigation
He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
According to the NOPD, the 17-year-old and 43-year-old Darryl Robinson got into an argument when Robinson allegedly took out a gun and shot the 17-year-old.
Robinson was arrested and faces a charge of aggravated second-degree battery.
