LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) - Fire crews were sent to rescue a dog that was stranded on a beaver dam in Longmeadow on Monday. Longmeadow police arrest suspects connected with hoax bomb The Longmeadow Fire Department was called to the Meadows for a dog, Ranger, that was stranded on a beaver dam. Ranger was stranded for almost an hour while the owner tried to help. Longmeadow Fire DepartmentLongmeadow Fire Department The owner called the fire department and crews put on their ice rescue suits to help Ranger. Crews were able to successfully rescue Ranger and returned him to his owner. Besides being cold, Ranger is okay.
