Jan 21, 2025
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – The Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) has launched the 2025 administration of SurveyWorks.
The annual statewide survey collects feedback from students, families, educators and administrators on a variety of topics, including students’ feelings of belonging, levels of respect between students and educators, safety, as well as college and career readiness. Those interested in taking part are asked to fill out the survey online by March 31st. Responses are anonymous and confidential.
“Participating in our annual SurveyWorks is incredibly important to help us improve the school experience,” said Education Commissioner Angélica Infante-Green. “When we look at hoe we can pave the way to success for students, families and educators, we must consider their critical insight to implement the best supports possible for students. I encourage all students, educators, and families to participate and make their voices heard.”
The data collected is incorporated into the state’s Report Card platform that families can use to better understand the strengths and challenges of their schools.
