DERBY, Kan. (KSNW) -- The Emergency Accident Reporting Plan is now in effect for Wichita, Bel Aire, and Derby. Light snow has been following over south-central Kansas, accumulating on roadways. Several non-injury accidents have been reported across the Wichita area. Several accidents have happened along eastbound Kellogg between the Central Business District and Hillside. Law enforcement asked drivers to avoid EB Kellogg at the Central Business District, an area prone to crashes during weather events. Homeless Outreach Team encourage Wichita’s homeless to seek shelter amid deadly cold The snow is expected to taper off, but frigid temperatures will remain overnight into the morning.
