SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Over $1.8 million in funding was awarded to 740 organizations across the state by the Mass Cultural Council, including 24 in Springfield. Representative Bud Williams, Chair of the Joint Committee on Racial Equity, Civil Rights, and Inclusion, proudly announced six organizations in the 11th Hampden District have been awarded grants from the Mass Cultural Council’s FY25 Festivals & Projects program. Williams. “The six organizations awarded grants in the 11th Hampden District are helping preserve our cultural heritage, inspire creativity, and bring people together.
