ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) - Heavy snow is moving through now and will continue through late morning. There will be some afternoon clearing, but temperatures drop. Expect many to finish with significant snowfall on the ground, some over half a foot of snow. Expect bitter cold air both Tuesday and Wednesday and that pairs with more heavy lake effect snow through tomorrow east of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. The snow east of Lake Erie will impact Wyoming County and occasionally over into Livingston and Ontario County as well. Expect temperatures to slowly warm up through the end of the week. There will be another system that swings in by Thursday and Friday that could bring in some more snow showers.
