AUSTIN (KXAN) — At least two homes caught fire Monday in south Austin, and seven people have been displaced, according to the Austin Fire Department. Around 12:15 p.m., AFD said the fire was happening in the 4300 block of Triboro Trail. That's near MoPac. The agency said the fire was upgraded to a second alarm. At one point, AFD said crews battling the fire on the inside had to come out due to "overly heavy fire and elevated safety risks for firefighters." The homes were searched multiple times for occupants with nothing found, AFD said. Two homes catch fire in the 4300 block of Triboro Trail in south Austin.
