2 teens seriously hurt after being hit by driver in Batavia

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Two teenagers were left seriously hurt after they were hit by a driver in Batavia, police announced Sunday evening.
According to police, officers were called to the scene Saturday just after 6 p.m. at the intersection of W. Main Street and State Route 98 where they found the two with serious injuries. They were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester and were expected to survive their injuries.

As the investigation continues, officers said the driver involved was cooperating. Anyone with additional information that could help investigators, including video footage of the incident, is asked to call the Batavia Police Department at 585-345-6350 and ask to speak with Sgt. Perkins.
