EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- One person was injured in a shooting Sunday night, Jan. 19 in Downtown El Paso, El Paso Police said. Police said the shooting took place at San Antonio and Stanton in Downtown. They sent out an alert to media a little after 7:30 p.m. Sunday but didn't say when the incident happened. 2 taken into custody in Central El Paso shooting They also didn't say what led up to the shooting or how badly hurt the person was. This is the second shooting in El Paso this weekend. On Friday afternoon, one person was injured in a shooting along Porter Avenue in Central El Paso. Two juveniles were detained in connection to the shooting and were referred to the Juvenile Probation Department. The Police Gang Unit is investigating that incident.
