HOPEWELL TWP. — The Hopewell Valley High varsity girls’ basketball team used a fourth-quarter surge to surprise Allentown, 33-24, Saturday. The Bulldogs outscored the Redbirds, 14-3, over the final eight minutes to flip a game they had trailed by two points at the end of the first three quarters. Delainey Ross’ 15 points and 10 more from Katie Reinhart spearheaded Hopewell’s attack. Bailey Patten was the only A’town player in double figures with 12 points.
