FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — The Fort Wayne Police Department is investigating a shooting south of downtown Fort Wayne Saturday night. Allen County Dispatch confirmed that a shooting was called out around 10:12 p.m. in the 1400 block of Eagle Street. An officer at the scene told WANE 15 one person was shot. The person was taken to an area hospital in life threatening condition. Police said there is no threat to the public at this time. We will keep you updated as we learn more.
