Jan 18, 2025
What We’re Tracking
Significantly colder weekend
Arctic cold air to start the week
Dry over the next several days
After a cold front moved through overnight, temperatures are starting off in the 10s this morning. With winds from the North at 15-20 mph, wind chills feel like single digits to start out. Cloud cover will stick around through most of the daytime.
Highs will struggle into the low to mid 20s Saturday afternoon and may not even make it out of the 10s by Sunday. There is a slight chance a few flurries move through early Sunday morning, although won't amount to much.
Arctic cold air will settle in for Monday and Tuesday, bringing highs in the teens and overnight lows dropping below zero. This will be some of the coldest air of the season. Minimum wind chills during the first half of the week are expected to range from -15° to -10°.
After Tuesday, a slow warm up is in store with highs topping out into the middle 30s by the end of next week.
