Disclaimer: All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Two teenaged suspects have been arrested in connection with a homicide that happened on New Year's Day. According to the New Orleans Police Department, officers responded to a shooting in the 8500 block of North I-10 Service Road around 7:20 p.m. on Jan. 1. On scene, they found an unresponsive man, later identified as 19-year-old Kayron Hall. He was taken to a hospital by EMS and pronounced dead shortly thereafter. 3 dead following River Ridge double homicide, deputy-involved shooting A 15-year-old juvenile and 18-year-old Caine Moore were later identified as suspects in the case, and on Thursday, Jan. 16, the juvenile was arrested on Dwyer Road by the NOPD's Violent Offender Warrant Squad and the Federal Fugitive Task Force. He was booked into the Orleans Juvenile Justice Center where he is being charged with second-degree murder. Moore was located the next day, on Friday, Jan. 17, and arrested by the same law enforcement groups.
