Person found dead inside vehicle at Heritage Park Plaza in East Longmeadow

EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) - A person was found dead inside a car parked at the Heritage Park Plaza in East Longmeadow on Friday.
East Longmeadow camp director honored with rising star award
East Longmeadow Police Department Chief Mark Williams said at around 10 a.m. officers located a vehicle that belonged to a person who was the the subject of a well-being check request from another police agency. The vehicle was in the northwestern corner of the parking lot near Panera Bread.
When officers approached the vehicle, a deceased person was found inside. The death is considered not suspicious and there is no threat to the public.
East Longmeadow Police and Massachusetts State Police are investigation the circumstances of the death. The person's identity has not been released.
